Is there a build engineer
The engineering variant includes practical work in your repository to establish an issue-to-merge pipeline and review gates. The programme teaches the working method; a production implementation can be scoped separately through Prove or Deliver.
The exit, in detail
Leaders leave with three valued workflows. Team programmes leave a practised working method and the agreed workflow materials; the engineering variant includes an issue-to-merge pipeline and review gates in your repository. Any build or further coaching is separately agreed.
Assurance
James Rooney provides partner oversight on every engagement, and leads the audits personally. Every person on your engagement is senior, with no pyramid of juniors behind them.

In one paragraph

Learn helps leaders and teams use AI in their own work. A £8,500 leadership day brings up to 12 executives together to agree three workflows and put a pound value on each. The £24,000 team working-method programme supports up to 12 people over six weeks: two workshop days plus four weeks of weekly pairing on a real workflow. The engineering variant leaves an issue-to-merge pipeline and review gates in your repository. A Centre of Excellence cohort variant is £30,000–£40,000. All fees are fixed for the agreed scope and exclude VAT, pre-agreed expenses and model or platform use.

That is the short answer. The call is where it gets specific to your estate.

Fit test

Is this the right scope for you?

We would rather tell you now than three weeks in.

Right for you if

  • Executives choosing practical AI opportunities and their value
  • One team that wants a repeatable working method rather than a tool demonstration
  • Engineering teams adopting AI from issue through review and merge
  • A Centre of Excellence cohort learning how to support other teams

Not right if

  • You need a production workflow delivered for you: choose Deliver
  • You need to test one uncertain workflow before investing: choose Prove
  • You need a whole-organisation investment plan: choose the readiness audit

Not sure which side of that you fall on? That is exactly what the call is for.

Learn: your questions

What does the Learn leadership day include?

For £8,500 fixed, up to 12 executives work through three workflows and put a pound value on each. Bring the decisions and examples your leadership team needs to understand. The day helps you agree where practical AI work should start; it is not a production build.

How does the six-week team programme work?

Up to 12 people practise on a real workflow over six weeks, with two workshop days and four weeks of weekly pairing. The fixed fee is £24,000. The engineering variant establishes an issue-to-merge pipeline and review gates in your repository, so the method becomes part of daily delivery.

What is the Centre of Excellence cohort price?

The cohort variant is £30,000–£40,000 fixed for the agreed scope. It is for people who will help other teams adopt the working method. We agree the cohort, workflow and practical outputs before starting. Fees exclude VAT, pre-agreed expenses and model or platform use.

Can product managers and testers learn alongside engineers?

Yes. Their work meets at requirements, acceptance decisions and feedback, so practising together helps each role understand the others. At PPL, the operating-method project covered Product, Engineering and QA, with design, build, testing, review and deployment practices developed on real work.

Sources: PPL: the six-month engagement and working method.

What should participants bring to practical AI training?

A real task, relevant examples and the authority to discuss how the work is done. Participants also need the agreed tools and access for that task. Their difficult cases help make the practice useful, and the engagement scope determines which activities we work through together.

How do we teach a new starter the AI working method?

Give them a small task, a worked example and someone to review it with. The operating guide should explain the decisions and checks as well as the steps. Comparing the new starter's attempt with the example shows where the guide or coaching needs improvement.
